Ice Hockey is a new winter sport that has been added to the Academy of Saint Elizabeth. Since this is a new sport, only one person from the Academy is on the team. That one person is Mia Foer, who is currently a sophomore and plays the position of the forward, mainly left-wing, on the hockey team. Mia has been playing ice hockey since the 7th grade. Prior to playing ice hockey, Mia was a competitive figure skater for 12 years. Growing up, she always went to New Jersey Devils games with her dad, and he played ice hockey which inspired her to play. Now that the Academy offers ice hockey as a sport, Mia can do what she loves and be a part of an AOSE team at the same time. During this year’s season, the team had 5 wins, 11 losses, and 3 ties. They had a great season this year. They may have lost, but they fought hard and had  fun.
