Congratulations to sophomore Annie Rojack, the AOSE Athlete of the Week 10/2-6! This week, Annie scored two goals in the field hockey team’s wins against Morris Hills and Koinonia. She also had two assists and was a key factor on the defense in the two shut-out games. Annie was also nominated as one of the Daily Record Athlete of the Week nominees. Teammate, Kayle Brody, explains, “Annie has the most heart and drive out of all of us. Our team depends on her and we are lucky to have someone that is so talented and genuinely humble.” Not only has Annie been starting on defense since her freshman year, but she has been a leader on and off the field since her first day on the team. Over the past two years, Annie has also totaled 6 goals and 8 assists, while being the backbone of the Panthers’ defense. Great job Annie!
