In 2022, the Academy of St. Elizabeth’s Girls’ Lacrosse team finished with a winning record of 10-9. The team was led by senior captains Annalisa Bio ’22, Avery Amato ’22, and Erin Kilgore ’22. The three seniors constituted a combined total of 92 of the team’s 209 goals for the season. Bio led the team in goals, assists, and draw controls. Although the talent of the now-graduated seniors will be missed, the young team is excited about the upcoming season.

The 2023 Panthers’ lacrosse team will be led by seniors Brynn Kearns ’23, Colleen Dooley ’23, Kate Clifford ’23, Lauren Santoriello ’23, Lucia Ferriso ’23, and Maggie Callahan ’23. The lefty, Dooley, is an offensive force and was the third-leading scorer in the 2022 season. Ferriso was one of the leaders of the 2022 season defense. She forced 11 turnovers and frequently ran the ball up to the attack. Her speed and ability to maneuver through the midfield allowed her to score 9 goals. Grace Gehm ’24, a junior, will benefit the team significantly on the draw this year. During her sophomore season, she totaled 28 draw controls, 11 goals, 7 assists, and 8 forced turnovers. Sophomores, Scarlett Claps ’25, Katie Callahan ’25, and Ella Delatush ’25, will be returning for their second varsity season for St. Elizabeth. The three freshmen combined for 59 goals last season, and Claps led the team with 46 ground balls. This year, the team welcomes two new coaches; head coach Gervis and assistant coach Rivera. Additionally, a majority of the team’s home games  will be played at Fairleigh Dickinson University on turf fields rather than the grass ones at the Academy.
