Volleyball Victory

The AOSE volleyball team had an amazing season! They played nail-biting games against tough teams and went to state level competitions.

The setter Amanda Chambers ‘24, and the outside hitter Clare Farrel ‘24 achieved great milestones! Amanda reached 700 career assists by the middle of the season; Clare reached 500 career kills, as well as passing 300 kills for the season alone. Along with Clare and Amanda, Colleen Dooley ‘23 passed 200 career kills as a right side hitter.

Throughout the season, the AOSE volleyball team beat our rival school, Villa Walsh Academy, each time we versed them. Each time was a great win for the Academy. There’s nothing more liberating than beating your rival in a sports game!

Although the season came to a saddening end, the Panthers didn’t go out without a fight, losing the game 3-2 with the first two sets surpassing 25 points for both teams. This is also a great milestone for the Panthers because that was the first time the AOSE volleyball team went to the second round of states in many years. Great job this season Panthers; we can’t wait for next year!
