The annual Beth Ball is always one of the most anticipated events of the year at the Academy. This year, the theme was “Dancing Queen.” The Study Hall and the Panther Den were covered in glittery and colorful decorations. The most well received decor was the balloon arch over a sparkly silver background, which many used to take photos. Avid volleyball player Madi Benegas (‘25) used the balloons to play Keep It Up with her friends while setting up with the Student Council. Members of Student Council also decorated the Panther Den with LED lights, string lights, balloons and more.
One of the best parts about the school’s semi formal is dressing up, as well as getting to see others’ outfits. Many wore solid-colored, sparkly, sequined, and fringed dresses. Most students wear heels, but ultimately change into socks to dance.
A few students brought not only their iPhones for taking pictures, but a digital camera. Above is an image Chengli Payton (‘25) captured while hitting the dance floor!
