This year, the Volleyball team ended their season 11-12. The Varsity team had major wins over Madison, Mountain Lakes, Pingry, and Mount Olive. They won 2-0 away against Morris Hills in the first round of the Morris County Tournament. Clare Farrell ’24 led the team with 249 kills, finishing her high school career with 840. Clare also achieved 171 digs, 96 service points, and 38 aces. Amanda Chambers ’24 led the team with 400 assists, which brings her high school career total to over 1,200 assists. Amanda Acevedo ’25 had 125 digs, along with 69 service points for the Panthers. Greta Servitto ’24 led the team with 27.5 blocks. Mackenzie Siegel ’25 scored 106 service points, along with having 137 kills and 129 digs.
Clare Farrell was named the team’s Most Valuable Player on the Varsity level. Piper Tricarico ’25 won the Blue & Gold Award, while Greta Servito won the Sportsmanship award. On the JV level, Juliette Roake ’26 was named the Most Valuable Player, Audrey Rohlf ’26 earned the Blue & Gold Award, and Ava Orr ’25 won the Sportsmanship Award. For the Freshman Volleyball team, Kelsey Puma ’27 won the Most Valuable Player award, Juliana Cerciello ’27 won the Blue & Gold Award, and Ava Sangosse ’27 won the Sportsmanship Award.
While the major contributions of team’s seniors, Amanda Chambers, Clare Farrell, Ava Montaruli ’24, Crystal Pisello ’24, and Greta Servitto, will be missed, look out for Mackenzie Siegel, Madelena Benagas ’25, Piper Tricarico, Maren Foley ’25, and Amanda Acevedo leading the team next season!
