The field hockey team started the week off by tying Mount St. Mary 1-1. The team’s only goal was scored by Ella Delatush ’25 and assisted by Fiona Farrell ’24. The Panthers played again on Thursday 10/26 in their “Senior Night” game against Mount St. Dominic. The team highlighted their four seniors, Abigail Villa ’24, Fiona Farrell, Mia Foer ’24, and Sarah Heflin ’24. Tessa Koza ’25 had the team’s first goal, and then Fiona Farrell assisted a goal to Ella Delatush, who scored with 22 seconds left in the game to give the Panther’s the win. The field hockey team ended the week with a 2-0 win against Newark Academy in the first round of the NJSIAA Non-Public North State Tournament. Addison Heuck ’25 and Fiona Farrell each had a goal and an assist. Goalies, Mia Foer and Sarah Heflin, shut out the Newark Academy offensive. Congratulations Panthers!
Clare Farrell ’24 led the AOSE Volleyball team to a win against Mount Olive with 11 kills, 10 service points, 9 digs, and 4 aces. Amanda Chambers ’24 led the team with 16 assists. The team will take on East Christian in the first-round of the NJSIAA Non-Public, Group B Tournament on Thursday November 1st at 4:00. Good luck Panthers!
The AOSE Soccer team’s season came to a close this past week following their loss to Gill St. Bernard’s. Maggie Misita ’25 led the team with 179 saves in goal. Grace Gehm ’24 led the team with 16 points from her 5 goals and 6 assists. Isabella Pribula ’26 also had 5 goals, tying Grace for the most on the team. Piper Misita ’26, Maggie Misita, Isabella Prestia ’25, and Alea Bediner ’24 all had multiple goals as well. Great job this season, Panthers!
