Congrats, NHS Inductees!

On March 29, 2023, many students from the Classes of 2023 and 2024 processed up the aisle at the Holy Family Chapel, lit a candle, and recited an oath as inductees of the Elizabethan Chapter of the National Honor Society.  Students who have demonstrated excellence in academics, character, service, and leadership are invited to join this prestigious society.
After an introduction, the induction welcomed 27 students into the society. Then guest speaker and alumna, Meghan Callandriello ’18, spoke about the importance of showing up for the people and events that matter even if it is not at the top of one’s priorities.
After concluding the Elizabethan Chapter of the National Honor Society induction, the language societies: French Honors Society, Latin Honors Society, and Spanish Honors Society welcomed their new members, totaling to twenty-four inductees for the three language honor societies.
A new addition to the ceremony this year is the National Honors Society for Dance Arts, a new honors society built on performance and grace through dedication to the arts. Four young ladies— Anneliese Bruder, Amelia Lisco, Naomi Murphy, and Samantha Sloan— are the first to ever be inducted into this Honor Society at The Academy.
Congratulations to all inductees!
